Jyoti ज्योतिस्
What is JYOT ?
Jyoti (ज्योतिस्) is a Sanskrit word that means “divine light,” “radiance,” and “brightness.”
JYOT is referring to the Sun & Moon. These 2 special stars which are guiding our yogini practices , which are influencing our energy level, which are guiding our patch all along our life…
But JYOT is not only about Yoga… it is also about massage since it is an obvious combination to me…
Yoga is about breathing meditating & play/explore our amazing body mobility ability…to find harmony with our body
Massage is about mind release, muscle recuperation and injury prevention
Both are amazing tool to keep your body healthy, your energy up and optimise your sport performance.
Who I am ?
Claire, a French Sport addict and Nature lover but also Yoga teacher and Massotherapist
After 20 years of classical danse practices, I discovered the Yoga philosophy several years ago during a world bicycle tour which started in India...
Coming from the French Alps, I am a mountaineer...my rock & Ice climbing practices always took a huge benefit of stretching and then Yoga mobility routine...
Sport being fully integrated in my way of leaving, I did evaluate by myself
- the negative impact on muscle over-stress due to many hours of sport training, and
- benefits of all mobility routine that I do on a daily basis.
Now on a daily basis I am mixing Yoga (Asthanga , Yin or Vinyasa) & Mobility exercises to keep my body flexible,Mobile & strong...and ultimately ready for new challenge!
To go beyond, I am fully convince that we have to take care of our body and Massage is a very powerful way to do it . That is why I decided to be combine Yoga & mobility teaching with Sport massage , I am graduated from a French massage school which is fully dedicated to the sportif preparation , recovery and follow-up during competition.
A French Massotherapist
I have been graduated in a 🇫🇷 massage school which is fully dedicated to sportif preparation, recovery and follow-up during competition & I am regularly integrating passive &/or active mobilization during massage.
But I am also skilled to Deep tissu, Trigger point and Myofascia.
In France I was used to follow Crossfit athletes, weightlifting competitors, runners but also non-sportive person who unfortunately get regular pain due to a busy life.
Before the massage, I always take time to fully capture your need, pain, potential injury to define the best massotherapry technic I will use to help you
I do not yet speak Suomi but my resolution for this year is to learn.
Nevertheless, we can easily discuss and exchange about your needs in English or even in French if you wish 😅
To preprare my personal sport challenge I am training on daily basis.. and I really evaluated by myself the negative impact on over-stressed muscle due to many hours of sport training and the benefits of all mobility routine that I do on a daily basis.
This is the reason why I am sincerely convinced that massage is a huge way to take care of yourself.
